Job description:
- Entry level position with growth potential
- Screen and evaluate linguistic resources according to an established procedure
- Interface with linguistic resources worldwide
- Handle work orders for linguistic resources
- Interface with our European customers
- Coordinate localization projects
- Assist Project Managers in the US headquarters and European branch
- Learn translation industry technology
Desired skills and expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA in Modern languages is a plus)
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Knowledge of a foreign language other than English at close to native level – it’s a plus
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in word processing and communication tools
- Quality- and detail-oriented approach
- Self-starting, pro-active attitude
- Problem-solving capabilities
- Strong team player in a multi-language/multi-cultural environment
- Interest in new technologies and new tools
- Interest in becoming a Project Manager and taking on new responsibilities
- Willingness to work long hours/weekends when needed
- 1 year experience in project coordination or international field – not mandatory
